Arbor Day Farm

Climb Aboard! Discovery Ride Offers New Family Fun at Arbor Day Farm’s Tree Adventure. “I liked the animals, bugs, shade and beaver dam. Riding on the tram was so much fun,” said nine-year-old Whitney Todd, who experienced the Discovery Ride, the newest addition to Arbor Day Farm Tree Adventure’s offerings of outdoor adventure and exploration. On the Discovery Ride, families will discover the secrets and surprises of the forest, orchards and prairies, and glimpse the wildlife that lives there, as they ride under the canopy of a blazing-red oak leaf along a three-mile grassy trail. Located in Nebraska City, which is the home of Arbor Day, the Arbor Day Farm Tree Adventure is a world-class attraction that offers people a chance to climb a 50-foot-high tree house, play in the Nature Explore Classroom, walk along nature trails, and to use every sense as they witness the up-close excitement and wonderment of nature. And, every visitor gets a free tree seedling to plant at home. The Discovery Ride launches Arbor Day, April 25, and will run daily, weather permitting. The Tree Adventure is open daily. Annual Family Passes are available.

Visitors will discover something new with every visit as the wildlife, forest, orchard and farm change with the seasons. In addition to the outdoor activities and indoor exhibits, the Tree Adventure also offers birthday party packages and a full 12 months of events.
