The Ritz Carlton, Naples
back to Travel page

Did you know that female Loggerhead turtles, a species of sea turtles, nest only on their birth beach? Or that the Sabal Palm is the state tree of Florida. My daughter and I recently visited the Ritz Carlton, Naples and experienced a very unique aspect of this fabulous property. Nature’s Wonders!

The Ritz Carlton, Naples and the Conservancy of Southwest Florida have partnered to promote fun and educational family vacations and WOW what a success! During our stay we had the pleasure of meeting with Ranger Randy, Randy Sarton, a Staff Naturalist at the Ritz Carlton, Naples for one of his nature walks. Our hour long walk took place entirely on the Ritz Carlton property. We started on the boardwalk that begins at the swimming pool and leads to the beach winding through the Mangroves trees. On the boardwalk Ranger Randy pointed out birds and wildlife that he would see then stopped to explain to us the difference between the booted and clear trunk palm tree. It was an amazing adventure and all Ritz Carlton, Naples guests can experience nature’s wonders when they join Ranger Randy for a nature walk. In addition to the complimentary nature walks the Ritz Carlton, Naples and the Conservancy of Southwest Florida offer many different tours and programs to find out more you can go to www.ritzcarlton.com or www.conservancy.org.
